Can i just mentioned that last thursday MSTU class was the most interesting and interACTIVE class ever. yep. and controversial.
minutes after the guest speaker Mr Paul Curtis got on stage to talk about popular music. this really dodgy looking guy carryin a cute but suss bag (those that u n i will carry in kindergarden) dashed down the lecture room and jumped onto the stage (yeh. the schonell theatre)/. so u get the picture how crazy it is to jump onto tt stage.
so he dashed around frantically on the stage, acknowledgin the speaker as his manager and of cuz paul denied. and shouting about someone who was stealin his daughter, and wanting paul to play his music to us. n blah n blah.
I thought the whole issue was pretty amusing, i didnt find it a tad scary, which should come as disturbin or amazing to others. i was sitting at the 3rd row from the stage. the first 2s are empty.
And, considering the lastest south korean gunman incident, i should be SHIT scared. and all the rights to be.
and crazy me was actually amused when my classmates were sharing their escape strategies in the tute. They were actually thinking (in their head) of strategies to block bullets with tables and which exits to run to.
and being a social science class; ultimately, the incident was steer towards democracy; how a person should be allowedand free to speak their mind in any situation.
p/s: the guy IS the one who ran ard naked in the parliament meeting.
what happened to the sanctuary of university life. the trees, the river, the ibis, the ducks, the lakes, they are all a lie????objects to create an imagery of tranquility and sanctuary in our educated(*goff) mind?
lol.
