Federal Budget
I have to add that we must give the government commendable effort for at least trying to relieve the financial burden that some Australians are facing. However, I felt that the measurements the government in introducing could not measure up to all the price increment in other areas, such as oil prices, etc.
Personally, I’m happy with the funds injected by the government on the aspects of VSU, even though, for international student, student union fees is still a compulsory payment.
On a pessimistic note, as a strategy to prevent the deficit in government budget , prices on other commodity and services (e.g. GST) might increase in due time. I hope I’m not right and I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
